Lewis Cass Choirs had 66 entries across 4 division groups at Solo and Ensemble this weekend. 14 Soloists received a gold rating and will attend State on February 18th: Jesse M., Maddy W., Raegan M., Gracie S., Kennedy T., Miki K., Alexis A., Heidi F., Eli M., Liberty P., Angel N., Kurtis G., Jenifer R., and Ian Hook. After receiving a perfect Barbershop score at State last year, the students were feeling the pressure to perform well in the Barbershop category. Three barbershops participated: the high school Mixed Barbershop with Kennedy Thorpe, Miki Klute, Ian Hook, and Jesse Morgan, the high school Boy’s Barbershop with Elijah Martin, Brayden Pittman, Ian Hook, and Jesse Morgan, and the 8th Grade Girl’s Barbershop with Madelyn Willis, Raegan Mundy, Alana Fagan, and Grace Spicer. All three received gold ratings, and will participate in State. The groups also received personal accolades from the judge. Way to represent Lewis Cass and good luck at State!
